About Kayleigh

Kayleigh Efird is a multidisciplinary artist and scholar with a sensitivity towards color and performance. Her work is no stranger to the absurd and otherworldly, being inspired by the lovable cast of the Muppets and baroque paintingHer favorite pastimes include knitting, penny boarding and watching ghost hunting shows with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Beauregard. Kayleigh began her artistic pursuits as a high school student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She continued her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art and received her BFA as a fiber artist and illustrator. Her work has been featured digitally and in print by publishers such as Penguin Random House UK and Ouch! Gazette. She has most recently been featured in Royal Blue Gallery's virtual gallery show Reflections and Veronika Moltuko's ESCAPE In/Out exhibition. Kayleigh continues to make work in London, England where she is undertaking her MA in Renaissance art history and curatorship at the Warburg Institute.
