About Kayleigh
Kayleigh Efird is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher with a sensitivity towards color and performance. Her work is no stranger to the absurd and otherworldly, being inspired by adobe flash games, the lovable cast of the Muppets, and baroque painting. Kayleigh began her artistic pursuits as a high school student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She continued her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art where she received her BFA in fiber art and illustration. She has professionally collaborated with performers, filmmakers and musicians including Secret Shame, Fools on the Hill Collective, and Rosie Beret. Her illustrations have been published digitally and in print by Penguin Random House UK, Soft Quarterly, and Ouch! Gazette. Kayleigh continues to make work in London, England where she is undertaking her MA in Renaissance art history and curatorship at the Warburg Institute.
