Kayleigh Efird is a multidisciplinary artist with a sensitivity towards color and performance. Her work is no stranger to the absurd and otherworldly, being inspired by the lovable cast of the Muppets and baroque painting. Her favorite pastimes include knitting, penny boarding and watching ghost hunting shows with her English Sheepdog, Neville. Kayleigh began her artistic pursuits as a high school student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She continued her studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art and received her BFA as a fiber artist and illustrator. Her work has been published digitally and in print by Baltimore Style Magazine, Soft Quarterly, Superfroot Magazine, Ouch! Gazette and Orange Peel Magazine. Her most recent gallery exhibition, Saint Genevieve Still Loves You, opened in April 2021. She continues to make work in Baltimore, Maryland and is a represented illustrator with Astound US Inc.
